Your passwords.
Your permission.

weeVault keeps your logins and two-factor codes private, and makes AI assistants ask before they use anything. You decide, one account at a time.

In private preview. Made in Glasgow.

The wee family

Four small tools that do one job each, and do it carefully. They share one account and one principle: nothing happens without you.

weeVault

Private preview

Your logins, kept private, even from us.

  • Everything is encrypted on your device before it’s saved. We only ever store scrambled data.
  • A separate vault unlock phrase that never leaves your device, and a recovery key that only you keep.
  • Unlock with your phone’s fingerprint or face, using a passkey on supported devices.
  • Locks itself when you step away. You choose how quickly.
  • Download an encrypted backup and restore it whenever you need to.
  • Add it to your phone’s home screen, and read your vault offline once you’ve signed in.
  • A strong password generator, search, favourites and private notes.

weeAuth

Private preview

Your two-factor codes, in the same safe place.

  • Scan a QR code with your camera, choose a saved QR image, or type the setup key.
  • QR codes are read on your device. They’re never uploaded.
  • Works with services that use standard six- or eight-digit authenticator codes.
  • Keep a code beside the login it protects, or on its own.
  • Duplicate setup keys are caught before they’re saved.

AI assistants can ask. They can’t just take.

  • Give each assistant its own identity, so you always know who’s asking.
  • Choose which accounts each one may ask about. By default, it’s none.
  • Every request shows the website, what it needs and why. Answer yes once, no, or yes always for that one account.
  • Pause every assistant at once. Access keys can expire, and you can replace them at any time.
  • A clear record of who asked for what, and what you decided.
  • Connects to assistants that support MCP, the Model Context Protocol, or through a simple web API.
  • Signing in for you isn’t switched on yet. It’s being built as a separate, locked-down part, and your assistant will never be handed your password.

weeBrowse

Research pilot

A private browser for one approved task.

  • Your assistant asks for one specific task, and you approve it on your phone.
  • The task runs in a separate, short-lived browser that’s destroyed when it finishes.
  • Your assistant gets the result. It never gets the browser, the page, your cookies or your password.
  • Switched off for every assistant until you turn it on.
  • Test accounts only, while we prove it out properly.

How an assistant asks

  1. It asks, and says why

Your assistant names the account it wants to use and gives a reason in plain words. It can only ask about accounts you’ve shared with it.

  2. You decide, on your phone or computer

Yes once, no, or yes always for that one account. Saying yes needs a recent fingerprint, face or authenticator check, so nobody else can approve for you.

  3. You stay in charge

Pause every assistant with one tap, change your mind about any account, and look back over every request and decision.

What we can see, and what we can’t

We’d rather you knew exactly where your information goes than take our word for it.

Never visible to us

  • Your passwords and usernames
  • Your private notes
  • Your two-factor setup keys and codes
  • Your vault unlock phrase
  • Your recovery key

Visible to us

  • Your email address and account sign-in details
  • The names of the assistants you connect
  • The website and account name of logins you choose to share with an assistant
  • Requests and your decisions, so your record stays accurate

The preview runs on test data only. Real passwords come later, once weeVault has passed independent security testing. We’d rather open late than open unsafe.

A note from the founder

AI assistants are getting good at doing things for us, and most of them want the keys to everything to do it. That never sat right with me. A password is trust. You shouldn’t have to hand it over to get a wee bit of help.

So weeVault works the other way round. Your logins stay locked on your device, your assistant has to ask, and you always get the final say. We’re building it carefully, and we won’t rush it.
